Rates are set by each expert, and you see the rate card before the first call. When you book a call or approve a SOW, ExpertMatcher adds the platform fee for your plan on the company invoice, from 12% on Starter to 4% on Enterprise. The company pays the expert's rate exactly as shown on the rate card. The expert's own plan fee on earnings is deducted from the payout, never added to your invoice.
Every plan is a subscription that renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. You cancel anytime in your account settings, and access stays until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are final as described in our refund policy. Companies pay by card on every plan and by ACH from Growth up. Upgrading charges the difference right away, so the new limits apply the moment the payment goes through.
No. ExpertMatcher works on monthly or yearly plans only. The one free thing is the match demo on the home page, where you describe a problem once and see your match brief before you sign up.
Yearly billing costs half of the monthly price, for example $74 per month instead of $149 on Growth. Most companies use outside experts all year, so the yearly plan is the better deal for them.
A brief is active while you are matching, interviewing or running an engagement for it. Closing a finished brief frees a slot for the next one, deleting a brief does not, and matching runs count toward the plan for the billing period.
Your company pays the expert's rate and the platform fee on one invoice through ExpertMatcher, and the expert receives a payout. You never handle separate transfers or tax forms for US experts.
Yes. Upgrading takes effect as soon as the difference is paid. Moving to a lower plan takes effect at the next renewal.
Yes. Experts pay their profile plan and a fee on each payout: 8% on Expert and 5% on Expert Pro. The fee is deducted from the payout and never added to the company invoice.
Yes. Enterprise costs $999 per month or $499 per month billed yearly, and you sign up the same way as on any other plan.
